MODULE CONTROLLED FUNCTIONS

The remote keyless entry (RKE) module is located behind the B-pillar on the driver side.

The RKE module controls the following:
- Unlocks all doors.
- Turns on the interior lamps after either front door handle is lifted.
- Turns on the interior lamps when using a keyless entry remote transmitter, refer to Lighting and Horns.
- Activates and deactivates a personal security panic alarm feature that sounds the horn and flashes the parking lamps and the headlamps; refer to Keyless Entry.
- Activates the lock feature that sounds the horn when the lock button is pressed on the keyless entry remote transmitter twice within five seconds.
