Water Pump: Service and Repair
Water Pump - 6.0L Diesel Engine Removal and Installation 1.
Drain the
cooling system.
2.
Remove the cooling fan and clutch.
3.
Remove the accessory drive belt.
4.
Remove the bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
5.
Remove the bolts and the coolant pump.

Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
6.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Clean and inspect the coolant pump mounting.
