FRONT SEAT - BENCH

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front safety belts from the front seat.







2. NOTE: Removing the front seat requires more than one technician.

Remove the retainers, disconnect the safety belt buckle electrical connector, and remove the front seat.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE: When installing the seat, tighten the front mounting bolts, then the rear mounting nuts.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Adjust the seat to the full forward and rearward positions a few times to assure safety belt and buckle accessibility.
- Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.

2. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
