Differential Fluid
Conventional 8.8 inch Differential 3.5 pts (1.66L)
Service capacity, fill rear axle 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch below the bottom of the filler hole.
Limited Slip 8.8 inch Differential 3.75 pts (1.77 L)
Add 4 ounces (118 ml) of Additive Friction Modifier XL-3 (or equivalent) meeting Ford specification EST-M2C118-A for complete refill of limited slip axles. Service capacity, fill rear axle 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch below the bottom of the filler hole.
Conventional 9.75 inch Differential 4.0 pts (1.90 L)
Service capacity, fill rear axle 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch below the bottom of the filler hole.
Limited Slip 9.75 inch Differential 3.75 pts (1.77 L)
