Normal Operation
With the keypad illumination activated, the vehicle security module supplies power to circuit 66 (LB) to illuminate the keypad. The keypad is grounded through circuit 1205 (BK).

Possible Causes
- circuit 66 (LB) open or shorted to ground
- circuit 1205 (BK) open
- keyless entry keypad
- vehicle security module
