Pinpoint Test N: DTC B2734, B2736, B2737, B2738, B2740 - Pedal Travel Sensor Fault































CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.

Normal Operation
the brake pedal travel sensor sends current to the ABS module proportional to the brake pedal position.


Reference voltage is supplied by circuit 3010 (TN). Ground is provided through circuit 3011 (BK/OG). The sensor signal is supplied by circuit 3012 (WH).

Possible Causes
- circuit 3010 (TN) open, short to power or ground
- circuit 3011 (BK/OG) open, short to power or ground
- circuit 3012 (WH) open, short to power or ground
- brake pedal travel sensor
- ABS module.
