Window Regulator: Service and Repair

REAR WINDOW GLASS - REGULATOR AND MOTOR

REMOVAL

Vehicles with rear bench seat
1. Remove the rear seat.

Vehicles with rear bucket seats
2. Position the rear seats forward.
3. Remove the rear center console.







4. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

Remove the rear trim panel.
1 Remove the four pin-type retainers.
2 Remove the three bolts and one nut.

All vehicles







5. Position aside the RH safety belt guide.
1 Lift up on the safety belt guide cover.
2 Remove the safety belt guide bolt.







6. Remove the RH upper rear corner trim panel.







7. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

Disconnect the power sliding window cable retainer clips.







8. Remove the power sliding window motor and bracket.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the bolts.







9. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

Remove the LH and RH power sliding window cable screws.







10. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

Disconnect the LH and RH rear power sliding window cable and remove the rear power window motor and regulator assembly.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
