MODULE - CENTRAL SECURITY MODULE (CSM)

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. NOTE: If C274a is disconnected first, an inadvertent IGNTAM alarm event (AL_EVT) will be stored and the alarm will sound when the battery is connected. The alarm must be disarmed by the remote unlock button or a key in the door lock cylinder to UNLOCK. To avoid this condition, disconnect (1) C274b before (2) C274a and reconnect (2) C274a before (1) C274b.

Remove the central security module.
1 Disconnect C274b.
2 Disconnect C274a.
3 Remove the nuts.

INSTALLATION







1. NOTE: To avoid inadvertent alarm activation, reconnect C274a first.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check for correct operation.
