Speed Control Cable

REMOVAL

All vehicles







1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.

Vehicles built before 08/2002







2. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body.







3. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body bracket.

Vehicles built after 08/2002







4. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body.







5. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body bracket.

All vehicles







6. Disconnect the speed control cable from the two clips.







7. Disconnect the speed control actuator cable cover.
^ Rotate the speed control actuator cable cover counterclockwise.







8. Remove the speed control cable from the speed control actuator pulley.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Make sure downward pressure is applied to the speed control actuator cable cover prior to rotating it clockwise
