Accelerator Cable - SVT

REMOVAL







1. Remove the snow cover from the throttle body.







2. Detach the accelerator cable from the throttle body.
1. Remove the retaining clip and detach the inner cable from the throttle body.
2. Rotate the outer cable.

3. Detach the accelerator cable from the retaining clip.







4. Remove the footwell trim panel.







5. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the pedal.







6. Attach a draw cord to the accelerator cable to assist with installation.
7. Remove the accelerator cable.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: The rubber grommets must be installed into the bulkhead and throttle body bracket before the accelerator cable is installed into the grommets.
