Accelerator Cable

REMOVAL







1. Detach the hose, remove the screw and the pin-type retainer.
^ Remove the snow shield.







2. Remove the clip and disconnect the cable.







3. Rotate the cable counterclockwise and detach it from the throttle body bracket.







4. Detach the cable from the retainer clip.







5. Detach the cable from the retainer clips.







6. Remove the footwell trim panel.







7. Disconnect the accelerator cable pedal grommet from the accelerator pedal.







8. Attach a draw cord to the accelerator cable to assist with installation.
^ Remove the accelerator cable.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: The rubber grommets must be installed into the bulkhead and throttle body bracket before the accelerator cable pedal grommet is installed into the pedal.
