Gearshift Linkage

Removal





1. Remove the gearshift lever cover.
1 Remove the gearshift lever knob.
2 Unclip the cover.
^ Disconnect the connectors (number and configuration depends on equipment).





2. Remove the center console.
^ Remove the rubber and unscrew the bolts.





3. Remove the shift mechanism.
1 Detach the shift and selector cable from the gearshift lever.
2 Remove the shift and selector cables by twisting the abutment collar clockwise.
3 Remove the nuts.

Installation








1. Reinstall the components in reverse order.
1 Install the shift and selector cables by twisting the abutment collar clockwise.
2 Install the shift and selector levers.
3 Tighten the nuts.
2. Adjust the shift mechanism.
