Motor Synchronization

1. Remove the roof opening panel motor.







2. Manually turn the spline shaft on the roof opening panel transmission until the roof opening panel glass is in the fully closed position and the yellow dots line up.

NOTE: The roof opening panel glass should be in the closed position prior to synchronizing the roof opening panel motor.







3. Connect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector to the roof opening panel motor wiring electrical connector.
^ Hold the switch ON until roof opening panel motor stops in the fully closed position.
^ Disconnect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector from the roof opening panel motor wiring connector.







4. Install the roof opening panel motor assembly.

NOTE:
^ When installing the roof opening panel motor as an assembly to the roof opening panel it may be necessary to turn the roof opening panel motor assembly slightly to engage the drive splines.
^ Make sure that the lifter arms and guidance ramps are aligned.

5. Connect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.
6. Install the roof opening panel access panel.
