Normal Operation
The luggage compartment lid remote switch supplies a ground signal to the front electronic module (FEM). When the FEM receives ground via circuit 8-AA30 (WH/RD), the rear electronic module (REM) energizes circuit 29S-AA83 (OG/GN) and supplies voltage to the luggage compartment lid release solenoid. When the remote keyless entry (RKE) module receives the signal to open the luggage compartment lid from the remote transmitter the RKE module sends the information via the communications network to the REM, which energizes circuit 29S-AA83 (OG/GN) and supplies voltage to the luggage compartment lid release solenoid.
