Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (CNG): Service and Repair

FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR

REMOVAL
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Carry out the Pressure Relief - Fuel Tube Venting procedure.
3. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor.
1 Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
2 Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor.







5. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor spacer (if necessary).

INSTALLATION







1. NOTE:
- Replace the fuel tank pressure sensor spacer O-ring seal.
- Lubricate the fuel tank pressure sensor spacer O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.

Install the fuel tank pressure sensor spacer (if necessary).







2. NOTE:
- Replace the fuel tank pressure sensor O-ring seal.
- Lubricate the fuel tank pressure sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.

Install the fuel tank pressure sensor.
- Install the fuel tank pressure sensor.
- Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.

3. Connect the battery ground cable.
4. Carry out the Fuel System Leak Test procedure. Testing and Inspection
