Water Pump: Service and Repair
Water Pump Removal and Installation 1.
Drain the engine
cooling system.
3.
Remove the coolant pump belt tensioner, if equipped.
4.
Disconnect the three hoses.
5.
Remove the bolts and the coolant pump assembly.
6.
Separate the coolant pump from the coolant pump housing.
7.
NOTE: Clean and inspect the sealing surfaces.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
