EGR Valve: Service and Repair

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve
1. With the vehicle in neutral, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the illustration and table.








To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed stems:
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 8: EGR System Module Gasket/Orifice Removal Note

1. NOTE: The EGR system module gasket/orifice sealing surfaces are soft metals.

Carefully clean the EGR system module gasket/orifice sealing surfaces.
