Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

SPEED CONTROL SERVO

REMOVAL







1. To remove the speed control cable cap depress the locking tab and rotate the cap.







2. Disconnect the speed control cable from the
speed control servo.
1 Gently push the retaining spring.
2 Disconnect the speed control cable slug from the speed control servo pulley.







3. Disconnect the speed control servo electrical connector.
- Depress the connector tabs.
- Remove the connector.







4. NOTE: Do not remove the rubber grommets from the speed control servo bracket.

Remove the bolts, the speed control servo and bracket.







5. Remove the screws and the speed control servo bracket.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE: Make sure the rubber seal is fully seated onto the speed control cable cap.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
