Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Run-on Fan Temperature Switch

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the battery tray.





2. Disconnect the lower coolant hose retainer from the upper coolant hose and position aside the lower hose and retainer.





3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the run-on fan switch.





4. Disconnect the two electrical connector pin-type retainers from the run-on fan switch bracket and position the connectors aside.





5. NOTE: The run-on fan switch and bracket are serviced as an assembly.

Remove the retainer and the run-on fan switch and bracket.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
