Gearshift Linkage

Removal





1. Remove the gearshift lever cover.
1. Remove the gearshift lever knob.
2. Unclip the cover.
- Disconnect the connectors (number and configuration depends on equipment).





2. Remove the center console.
- Remove the rubber and unscrew the bolts.





3. Remove the shift mechanism.
1. Detach the shift and selector cable from the gearshift lever.
2. Remove the shift and selector cables by twisting the abutment collar clockwise.
3. Remove the nuts.

Installation





1. Reinstall the components in reverse order.
1. Install the shift and selector cables by twisting the abutment collar clockwise.
2. Install the shift and selector levers.
3. Tighten the nuts.





2. Adjust the shift mechanism.
