Gearshift Linkage

Removal





1. Remove the gearshift lever cover.
1. Unclip the cover or boot.
2. Twist off the gearshift lever knob. Take out the damping sleeves and compression spring.
- Separate the connectors (number and configuration depends on equipment).





2. Remove the floor console.





3. Remove the shift and selector cables from the gearshift lever.
- Remove the cables by twisting the abutment collar counterclockwise.





4. Remove the shift mechanism.

Installation





1. Reinstall the components in the reverse order.
2. Adjust the gearshift mechanism.
