PINPOINT TEST AD: THE AUTO DIMMING MIRROR DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

Normal Operation
The auto-dimming mirror receives power from circuit 640 (RD/YE) and ground from circuit 1205 (BK). When the transmission is in REVERSE, the TR sensor signals the PCM the transmission range. The PCM sends a signal to the SJB over the SCP communication link, at which time the SJB sends a voltage through circuit 1367 (WH/YE) to the auto-dimming interior mirror, which turns the dimming feature off.

Possible Causes
- circuit 640 (RD/YE) open
- circuit 1205 (BK) open
- circuit 1367 (WH/YE) open
- circuit 1367 (WH/YE) short to ground or short to power
- interior rear view mirror
- SJB
