Fuel Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

FUEL INJECTION PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR

REMOVAL
1. Release the fuel system pressure.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







3. NOTE: 4V shown, 2V similar.

Disconnect the fuel injection pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector and the vacuum hose.







4. Remove the bolts and the fuel injection pressure and temperature sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE
- Before installing the fuel injection pressure and temperature sensor, inspect and lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
- Hand-tighten both bolts before tightening to specification.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
