Removal and Installation

Warning: If equipped with fire suppression system, depower the system.

1. Remove the intake manifold.

Note: The tip of the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor contacts the cylinder head at the bottom of the hole. When removed, it will be slightly crushed. This is a normal condition.






2. Remove CHT sensor.
1. Disconnect the CHT electrical connector.
2. Remove and discard the CHT sensor.

Warning: If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.

Note: The CHT sensor is not to be reused. Always install a new sensor.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
