Brake Backing Plate

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the rear wheel cylinder.
2. Remove the jounce hose bracket bolt.
^ To install, tighten to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).





3. Compress the parking brake cable conduit locking tabs and pull the parking brake cable assembly through the backing plate.
4. Remove the rear wheel hub.
5. Remove the 4 backing plate bolts and the backing plate.
^ To install, tighten to 66 Nm (49 ft. lbs.).
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
