Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the windshield wiper motor receives input from the PCM through circuit 679 (GY/BK) with vehicle speed information. The windshield wiper motor electronics then determine the speed of the windshield wiper motor.

Possible Causes
- Open or short to ground in circuit 679 (GY/BK)
- Inoperative vehicle speed sensor (VSS)
- Inoperative windshield wiper motor
