Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: If installing new brake pads, remove brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir until it is half full.

Remove the wheel and tire assembly.





2. Remove the brake hose from the support bracket.





3. Remove the outer brake pad retaining clip.





4. Remove the brake caliper.
- Remove the bolt covers.
- Remove the bolts.





5. CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang by the flexible brake hose.

Support the brake caliper to the vehicle.





6. Remove the brake pads from the caliper.

7. CAUTION: If the caliper piston is retracted into the housing, brake fluid may be displaced from the master cylinder.

NOTE: If installing new brake pads, fully retract the brake caliper piston into the housing.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
