PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

The smart junction box (SJB) is a combination of a multifunction control module and an interior power junction box. SJB functions control multiple systems which include:
- warning chimes and warning lamps
- power windows global open/close
- power locks
- battery saver
- illuminated entry with keyless remote entry (RKE)
- interior lighting
- exterior lighting
- perimeter anti-theft

The SJB is equipped on all vehicles and is located behind the RH A-pillar lower trim panel. For removal information, refer to Smart Junction Box (SJB).
