EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) SYSTEM MODULE

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system module electrical connector.
2. Remove the vacuum harness from the EGR system module.
3. Disconnect the EGR system module-to-exhaust manifold tube from the EGR system module.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and the EGR system module.
- Remove the EGR gasket and discard.
- Clean the EGR sealing surfaces.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new EGR gasket.
