WIPER PIVOT ARM

Removal

1. NOTE: The windshield wiper system has an auto-park feature. It is necessary to disconnect the battery.

Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the wiper pivot arm nut cover.
3. Remove the nut and the wiper pivot arm.

Installation

1. NOTE: The windshield wiper system has an auto-park feature.

Connect the battery.

2. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.







3. Install the wiper blade and pivot arm onto the pivot shaft and align the blade to the orange dots in the windshield.
4. Install the wiper pivot arm nut.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

5. Install the wiper pivot arm nut cover.
