WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.







2. Loosen the upper windshield wiper motor nut.







3. NOTE: It is necessary to rotate the bottom of the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly upward.

Rotate the wiper arm to the 6 o'clock position and remove the 2 lower nuts.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).

4. Remove the upper windshield wiper motor nut.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).

5. Remove the windshield wiper motor crank bolt.
- To install, tighten to 17 Nm (13 lb-ft).

6. To install, reverse the remove procedure.
