ROLL STABILITY CONTROL (RSC) BRAKE OR RSC
INDICATOR LIGHT ON WITH DTC C1446

FORD:
2006 E-350

ISSUE
Some 2006 E-350 vehicles may exhibit Roll Stability Control (RSC) Brake or RSC indicator light on with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) Cl446.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Follow normal diagnostic procedures in the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 206-09 for DTC C1446. If the concern is still unresolved, continue on to Step 2.

2. Check the operation of the brake fluid level switch by following WSM, Section 206-09 Anti-Lock Control - Traction Control and Stability Assist Step "S3".

3. Replace the fluid level switch only if directed by WSM pinpoint test.
