Removal and Installation

NOTE: Midship fuel tank evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent solenoid shown, aft of axle fuel tanks EVAP canister vent solenoid similar.

1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister.







2. NOTE:
- Inspect and install new O-ring seals as necessary.
- A twisting and pulling motion is necessary to remove the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid.

Disconnect the electrical connector and the evaporative emissions hose and remove the canister vent solenoid.

3. NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
