RETRACTABLE RUNNING BOARD BRACKET







Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: The retractable running board bracket assemblies cannot be serviced individually. The complete bracket assembly and linkage must be serviced as a unit.

Remove the retractable running board step.

2. Remove the retractable running board motor assembly.







3. CAUTION: An assistant is required to hold the retractable running board bracket assembly before removing the lower bolts.

Remove the retractable running board front bracket lower 2 nuts and bolt.
- To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).







4. Remove the retractable running board rear bracket lower 2 nuts and bolt.
- To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
