PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the steering column cover.
3. Remove the ignition lock cylinder.
4. Remove the 3 screws and the lower steering column shroud.
5. Release the 2 tabs and position the PATS transceiver aside.
6. Disconnect the PATS transceiver electrical connector and remove the PATS transceiver.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
