Normal Operation
The DSM receives voltage from the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit SBP01 (RD) and is grounded through circuit GD143 (BK/OG) The diagnostic tool communicates with the DSM using the medium speed controller area network (CAN), circuits VDB06 (GY/OG) and circuit VDB07 (VT/OG).

Possible Causes
- fuse
- circuit SBP01 (RD) open
- circuit GD143 (BK/OG) open
