Test A: Adjustable Pedals Inoperative/Does Not Operate Correctly Non-Memory

Test A: Adjustable Pedals Inoperative/Does Not Operate Correctly Non-Memory

Normal Operation
The switch for the non-memory adjustable pedals system uses a 2-way motor to rotate cables that move the brake and accelerator pedal toward or away from the driver. The adjustable pedals switch receives fused battery voltage from the smart junction box (SJB) fuse 1 (20A) circuit SBP01 (RD) at all times. The switch is grounded through circuit GD138 (BK/WH). When the adjustable pedals switch is pressed in the forward or rearward position, voltage flows through circuit CPP09 (VT/OG) (forward) or circuit CPP10 (BN/BU) (rearward) to the adjustable pedals motor.

Possible Causes
^ Fuse
^ Circuit open
^ Circuit shorted to ground
^ Adjustable pedals switch
^ Adjustable pedals obstruction
^ Adjustable pedal cable(s)
^ Adjustable pedals motor assembly
