NAVIGATION SYSTEM ROUTING ISSUE IN MICHIGAN

FORD:
2006 Five Hundred, Freestyle, Explorer

LINCOLN:
2006 Zephyr

MERCURY:
2006 Montego, Mountaineer

ISSUE
Some 2006 vehicles equipped with the optional navigation system may generate non direct routes for certain areas in northern Michigan. The system may generate a route up to 80 miles (129 km) out of the way. This may be caused by a map data software issue.

ACTION
Contact Pioneer at (937) 746-6600 extension 401 with Vehicle Identification Number and an updated free replacement software DVD will be mailed to the dealer.

NOTE
ONLY NORTHERN MICHIGAN AREAS ARE AFFECTED.
