Wiper and Washer Systems: Description and Operation

WIPERS AND WASHERS

The wiper and washer system consists of the following:
- Windshield wiper arms
- Windshield wiper motor
- Rear wiper arm
- Rear wiper motor
- Windshield washer reservoir
- Two-way washer motor pump

The front and rear window wipers and washers are controlled by the multi-function switch.

The following components are integrated into the windshield wiper motor:
- Windshield wiper motor module
- High/low speed relay
- Run/park relay
- Hall-effect sensor
- Washer pump relay

The following components are integrated into the rear wiper motor:
- Rear wiper motor module
- Run/park relay
- Washer pump relay
