Transmission Mount: Service and Repair

Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the battery and battery tray. For additional information, refer to Battery.





3. Install the universal lifting brackets on the LH side of the engine.





4. Using the special tools, support the engine.





5. Remove the 2 bolts from the transaxle insulator.





6. Remove the 4 bolts for the rear transaxle insulator and remove the insulator.

Installation
1. Clean the rear transaxle mount bolts using a wire brush and apply new Threadlock to the threads.





2. Position the transaxle mount in place and install the bolts.
^ Tighten to 62 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the 2 transmission insulator bolts.
^ Tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).





4. Remove the special tools.





5. Remove the universal lifting brackets from the LH side of the engine.
6. Install the battery and battery tray. For additional information, refer to Battery.
