Cylinder Head Bolts

New cylinder head bolts must be installed. They are a torque-to-yield design and cannot be reused.

First pass: Tighten M12 bolts 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
Second pass: Tighten M12 bolts 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Third pass: Tighten M8 bolts 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.)
Fourth pass: Tighten M12 bolts 90°
Final pass: Tighten M12 bolts 90°





Intake manifold bolts 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)

Throttle body bolts 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)





Camshaft bearing cap bolts
First pass 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
Final pass 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)

Camshaft Sprocket Bolts

The RH camshaft sprocket is a LH-threaded bolt.

Camshaft sprocket bolts 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust manifold nuts 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
