DRIVER DOOR MODULE (DDM)







Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

NOTE:
- Prior to removal of the DDM, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.
- A new DDM is delivered in a manufacturing mode with a pre-set DTC of B2477. This DTC will clear when the module has been successfully configured (or PMI). DTC B2477 may need to be cleared after a successful configuration (or PMI).

1. Remove the driver door trim panel.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the screws.
4. Release the locking tab and remove the DDM.

5. NOTE: If a new DDM is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new module.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check for correct operation.
