Barometric Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR

Removal and Installation

1. CAUTION: Make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to working on the electronic engine controls.

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.







2. Remove the instrument panel steering column cover.







3. Disconnect the pin-type retainer and position the barometric pressure (BARO) sensor out of the dash.







4. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the BARO sensor.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
