PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET

1. Connect the scan tool.
2. Key in the ON position.
3. Carry out the security access procedure for the PCM.

4. NOTE: Do not carry out the ignition key code erase.

Enter the powertrain control module (PCM) parameter reset mode on the scan tool.

5. Carry out the security access procedure for the transmission control module (TCM).
6. Enter the TCM parameter reset mode on the scan tool.
7. Key in the OFF position for a minimum of 3 seconds.
8. Key in the ON position for a minimum of 3 seconds.
9. Clear the DTCs.
10. Key in the OFF position for a minimum of 3 seconds.
