Shift Cable: Adjustments
Selector Lever Cable Adjustment1. Place the floor shift selector lever in the (D) position.
2. Loosen the bolt for the Z-bracket and rotate the Z-bracket counterclockwise to allow access to the selector lever cable adjuster.
3. Slide the adjuster sleeve up far enough to compress the 2 lock tabs.
4. Rotate the adjuster sleeve counterclockwise to unlock the selector lever cable from the adjuster barrel.
5. Slide the adjuster sleeve down until it is clipped in place.
6. Place the transmission manual control lever in the DRIVE position.
7. Lock the selector lever cable in the adjuster by turning the sleeve clockwise until it is locked in place by the lock tabs.
8. Rotate the Z-bracket clockwise over the selector lever adjuster and tighten the bolt.
^ Tighten to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).
