Removal and Installation
1. Drain the engine cooling system.
2. Remove the cooling fan.
3. Loosen the 4 coolant pump pulley bolts.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
4. Rotate the belt tensioner clockwise and disconnect the accessory drive belt from the coolant pump pulley.





5. Remove the 4 bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
6. Remove the 4 bolts and the coolant pump. Discard the O-ring seal.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Inspect the mating surfaces. Clean the sealing surfaces with metal surface prep. Follow the directions on the packaging.
^ Install a new O-ring seal. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant prior to installation.
