Transmission Mount: Service and Repair

Transmission Support Insulator - Four Wheel Drive (4WD)

Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
3. Remove the 2 nuts from the rear transmission support.





4. NOTE: Crossmember and exhaust system shown removed.

NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

Remove the 2 bolts and remove the rear transmission support.





Installation
1. Install the rear transmission support and bolts.
^ Tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)





2. Lower the rear mount onto the crossmember and tighten the rear transmission support nuts.
^ Tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)
