PINPOINT TEST H: THE DOORS DO NOT LOCK/UNLOCK USING THE REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) TRANSMITTER

Normal Operation
Remote locking and unlocking of the doors is accomplished by the vehicle security module (VSM) receiving a command message from the RKE transmitter. The VSM processes the command and grounds circuits 163 (RD/OG) and 118 (PK/OG), while energizing circuit 117 (PK/BK) to lock the doors, or grounds circuit 117 (PK/BK), while energizing circuits 163 (RD/OG) and 118 (PK/OG) to unlock the doors.
