System Specifications

Crankshaft Damper Pulley Bolt
Stage 1 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2 360 degrees
Stage 3 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
Stage 4 additional 90 degrees


Upper Cover Bolts
Tighten the engine front cover fasteners in the sequence shown.
Stage 1: Fasteners 1 through 15 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2: Fasteners 6 and 7 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.)











Lower Bolts
Tighten the engine front cover fasteners in the sequence shown in 2 stages.
Stage 1: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2: an additional 60 degrees






Timing Chain Tensioner
LH timing chain tensioner 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
RH timing chain tensioner 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
