Upper cover bolts
Tighten the engine front cover fasteners in the sequence shown.
Stage 1: Fasteners 1 through 15
25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2: Fasteners 6 and 7
48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.)
Lower bolts
Tighten the engine front cover fasteners in the sequence shown in 2 stages.
Stage 1:
20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2:
an additional 60 degrees
